I was a Spanish and business tutor at Taylor University, where I also volunteered locally as an ESL tutor. Spanish is my favorite subject to tutor as I love languages and helping students to understand this one better. I can also tutor English and math. No matter what I am tutoring, my goal is to present the material so it makes sense to the student I am working one on one with. It just depends on how they learn and what their individual abilities are.At college, I earned a bachelor's degree in Spanish and International Business. I studied abroad for one semester, taking that opportunity to live in Seville, Spain. During this time, I learned a lot about and became fluent in the Spanish language. I traveled to Portugal and Switzerland too. The time away was essential to my learning and personal growth, but I also enjoy being back home in Wheaton, Illinois, where I enjoy being active. I was a volleyball player in college for two years, so I like to play a game every now and then. Aside from being athletic and a tutor, I also play the piano, travel, and play games with my family and friends.
