As a tutor, I want all my students to walk away feeling confident in their studies, and being able to reach their educational goals. I like to instill good organizational skills in my students, because I truly feel it helps our tutoring sessions.I have been a teacher for seven years, where I have worked with children in grades 5-6, teaching them English, Math, and Reading. I also spend my summers tutoring kindergarten through seventh-grade students. I offer tutoring in Elementary and Middle School Math, Reading, Writing, Phonics, Pre-Algebra, Study Skills and Organization, Executive Functioning, Math, Business, English, and test prep for ISEE Lower Level and Middle Level, and SSAT Elementary Level and Middle Level. I graduated from Millikin University, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. I also hold a master's from Concordia University in Curriculum and Instruction. In addition, I have taken classes for a special education certification.In my free time, I love to go running, as well as read books.
