I first started my post-secondary schooling at the University of Colorado where I was studying Economics and History. I later found myself at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, which is where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Chemistry. During my time there, I developed excellent study habits and was able to schedule everything by reason, which meant I knew how to make the most of my time.During my second semester, I started to work as an assistant for the Organic Chemistry teacher, as well as tutoring in all of the other undergrad chemistry classes. I would arm my students with the building blocks that they needed for chemistry, as well as help them learn how to reason out the answers by analogy. This allowed them to see the big picture. This also helped them find the answers for some of the more difficult test questions.When I find myself with some free time, I do enjoy to take part in rock climbing, running, and skiing. I also love to travel as much as I can to places such as Southern Illinois, Eastern Kentucky, and the canyons of Colorado.
